This appears in an internal company document regarding the marketing of a new car model. There are several points which distinguish the style of the vehicle, namely:

- Une nouvelle calandre,
- Une signature lumineuse illustrée par 3 griffes (DRL),
- Des pièces de protection ceinturent la caisse avec l’apport de **sabots de franchissement"" avant et arrière

I get that this is some kind of trim part on the body shell providing protection to the car, but I'm not certain what they are. Hope someone can help - I'd be very grateful.
