Dachkunden umbrella client Explanation: More of a speculation but this ***might*** be the opposite of Dachmarken, umbrella brands. Reference: http://warwickshireldc.org/files/20120511_SLA_CRB2.pdf |

Distributor/Customer management Explanation: Stammkunde/Stammkundschaft seems to be a much more common collocation. Since this company appears to sell adult diapers, perhaps it makes sense to think of their customers’ return business as something a bit more nuanced than dedicated BMW or Apple consumers. Dachkunden may therefore refer to consolidated groups of Bestandskunden, such as hospitals, retailers, and other institutions defined by Kundenprofile. Since there doesn’t seem to be very specific word in English (or German for that matter), it might be best to be a bit more general and let the context of the rest of the ST speak for it. http://www.dict.cc/?s=Stammkunde http://www.dict.cc/?s=Bestandskunde My best guess. key account management Explanation: I strongly suspect it's this - a standard term in English meaning the really big main clients that require personal care. Often a key account managr's whole job will consist of looking after just two or three, or sometimes even just one key account (or client). A friend of mine is a sales director in the chemical field and they have key account managers just for single clients like Loreal. The term is used in a wide range of industries though. The 'Dach' would fit in since the key account - the Dachkunde - will have lots of subdivisions and even potentially subsidiaries that need servicing under the 'roof' of the key account. |
