regardless Explanation: A talmudic/rabbinic expression. הרי, of course, has no precise translation. מה נפשך means "what do you want" (the נפש being the seat of desire/thought) "whatever position you take," i.e. "either way." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 mins (2014-12-29 12:23:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Either way" really is the most literal and probably the most appropriate translation; you should use that instead of "regardless" unless the context doesn't allow this. |
