And IMHO it's actually WRONG in the first place! We would say 'resulting therefrom', and so even when turned round like this, it would be 'therefrom resulting' — but this seems like pseudo-legalese, since there is no real linguistic justification for turning the word order round like this — they might perfectly well have written: "... the number of damages resulting directly or indirectly therefrom"

This (I suspect non-native) writer seems to have trouble with prepositions, since it should also be 'indepndent of' — though in fact they were probably trying to say 'irrespective of'.

All this, merely to warn you (in case you hand't already sussed it!) about poor quality of your source text here — you can expect other horrors to come.
