Clarifications 20:55 Sep 30, 2015
The gallery owner is going to do the intervention of the art show stand, and he will be present greeting possible buyers, but he is not the artist. In addition, I have obtained more information since I posted the question. I spoke to an art museum curator, who confirmed that this can be translated as "an intervened stand". Art interventions are relatively new, and the term can be used to refer to very different things: it can be performance art, an installation, a modification of an existing artwork (sometimes done without authorization and later classified by some as "vandalism"). When an art show stand is intervened it means that the stand area (floor and walls) have been "decorated" with objects that are pertinent to the subject matter and artist. My doubt stemmed from the lack of references on the web, but after speaking to the art curator, I'm going to follow his advice and translate it as "an intervened stand", since it's now part of the complicated and ever-changing artspeak lingo.
