The asker is confused by the fact that the heading of my reply includes both terms. I hope my explanation has made everything clear by now.

Asker is confused, I think, by the introduction of 'your parents' in the sentence you proposed, although you rightly said, '...Αν αυτοί που τον μεγάλωσαν είναι οι γονείς του....'
Not everybody is raised/brought up by their parents. I was brought up by my Grandmother, for example. So, I thought it more correct and added MY version, although strictly speaking , 'Those who raised you' is as correct as 'those who brought you up'. BUT, to avoid the DOUBLE 'raise' in the total sentence, I suggested my version.
Furthermore, I believe, ASKER was confused because there are 4 'agrees' with your version, which includes 'parents'. In her mind, 5 people cannot be wrong, although you suggested my proposal, ' Ή με την πρόταση του transphy:'

Η απάντηση είναι διπλή: those who raised you ή your parents
Η κατά λέξη απόδοση είναι: those who raised you, the people who raised you.
Προτείνω να αποφύγεις δύο raise στην ίδια πρόταση. Αν αυτοί που τον μεγάλωσαν είναι οι γονείς του, στέκει η απλοποίηση:
Don't raise your voice to your parents.
Αλλιώς, οι επιλογές είναι π.χ.:
Don't shout at those who raised you.
Ή με την πρόταση του transphy:
Don't raise your voice to the ones who brought you up
