Buonasera,

qualcuno di voi ha idea di cosa potrebbe significare "tough estate"? Si parla di pignoramenti d'auto e in questo contesto si dice che due ufficiali devono andare a pignorare un veicolo "from a tough estate in Liverpool". Ho visto che estate può assumere diversi significati ma abbinato a questo "tough" non mi dice niente. L'uomo a cui devono pignorare la macchina è un tipo molto aggressivo e mi viene da pensare che l'aggettivo "tough" possa essere rivolto a lui. Detto questo, secondo voi "estate" potrebbe significare anche proprietario?

Un estate non è un vero e proprio quartiere, è piuttosto un piccolo raggruppamento di palazzi solitamente adibiti ad alloggi popolari. "Rione", secondo me, dà più quest'idea.

può anche riferirsi ad un gruppo di case popolare o un condominio di appartamenti ma direi semplicemente il quartiere se non hai riferimenti particolari
