On reproche (implicitement) à une femme de 35 ans de ne pas être encore mariée. Celle-ci se justifie.

Est-ce "que je ne connais pas le vrai bonheur" convient ici pour "what I lack in happiness". Peut-être pensez-vous à quelque chose de moins long dans ce contexte ?
