Use sth for my time

...I'd say it's likely the person meant something along the lines of, "With respect to my time, ..." (as I suggest in my previous note in Discussion). The speaker could have, of course, left "my time" out all together, and it would have communicated the message with greater concision, but that's not what we always do when we have discussions. :-)
