Hello everyone!
I'm translating some validation tests of tetanus toxoid lots and I came across the expression "own blank", which I don't know how to translate. The paragraphs where it appears read:

***Own blank*** preparation: Preparation is done in the same way as for the sample except
for that the sample is added only after the incubation and just right before the
measurement.

In routine testing, the absorbance of the ***own blank*** is subtracted from the absorbance
measured for the tested samples to assure that the colour of the sample (***own blank***) has
no impact on the final result.

My deadline is tomorrow 9 a. m. Argentine time.
