statutory duty Explanation: I think 'wettelijke taakstelling' can be translated as 'statutory target' (or plural 'statutory targets') in many cases. See Michael's answer. However, if you want/need to distinguish between 'wettelijke taakstelling' and 'opvangquota', I would suggest using the wider term 'statutory duty' for the former. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 18 hrs (2017-05-12 10:21:44 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- opvang en huisvesting >> reception and accommodation / reception and housing As for the accommodation/housing process: Asylum seekers who have been granted a residence permit (residence permit holders) move to a home of their own. The municipalities have the duty to house residence permit holders. Residence permit holders move to their new home within fourteen weeks after they have been granted a residence permit. Homes provided by the municipalities Once every six months the State sets the municipalities a target for the number of residence permit holders they are to house in the coming period. COA uses these targets to link residence permit holders to a municipality. The municipality then seeks a suitable home. https://www.coa.nl/en/asylum-seekers/accommodation-for-resid... |
