Russian term or phrase: родовой
Здравствуйте. Как в данном контексте перевести "родовой: родовые вещи, родовые признаки". Спасибо.

Целью займа является приобретение права собственности на родовые вещи. Обязанностью заемщика являются действия, направленные на возврат заимодавцу займа (денежные средства в такой же сумме или вещи, определенные родовыми признаками, в таком же количестве, такого же рода и такого же качества, которые были переданы ему заимодавцем) в срок и в порядке, установленные договором.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Спасибо! То есть "родовые вещи" в таком случае "generic things"?

neutral  Richard Coombes: I assume that this is a template, with 'родовые вещи' etc. as placeholders? If so, I get 'generic'. But рода is a noun, so how about 'kind'?

disagree  LilianNekipelov: No, absolutley not--genric would not mean anything in this context. It does not matter if it is a noun--it just does not mean genric. In fact, it is an adjective.

disagree  The Misha: This has nothing to do with ancestry. This is about things of the same kind that can be easily replaced with other similar things of the same kind.

agree  The Misha: This may actually work - except, of course, the entire sentence sounds kind of bizarre when translated into English. It's like explaining that butter is intended to be spread on sandwiches or that gas is to be put into gas tanks rather than tea cups:)
