Sto traducendo un referto medico, reparto di Nefrologia, dall'italiano all inglese ed ho riscontrato questo acronimo nella seguente frase:

"… abbiamo sospeso la tearpia diuretica e con ACAI (???) ed iniziato terapia idratante…"

E se non fosse un acronimo ma il nome della pianta, il cui frutto ha proprietà depurative e antinfiammatorie?

Potrebbe anche essere AntiCoagulante e AntiInfiammatorio... quite a long shot though.

Asker: Ciao Daniel, Grazie per la tua rapida risposta. Ho pensato ad açai, ma prima di tutto nel testo originale l'acronimo viene scritto tutto in lettere capitali "ACAI" insieme ad altre tearpie usate per il paziente. Secondo, non sono sicuro se in Italia nel settore pubblico si usano terapie come quella con il frutto esotico menzionato sopra.
