English translation: female commercial sex worker

Thai term or phrase: อาชีพหญิงบริการ
From a questionnaire about research types, the form asks:

อาสาสมัครในโครงการเป็นกลุ่มประชากรต่อไปนี้ใช่หรือไม่
.....
.....
.....
ผู้ด้อยโอกาสทางสังคม เช่น ขอทาน คนพิการ หรืออาชีพหญิงบริการ ฯลฯ

I think there are many options for translating the final disadvantaged type.
The Thai version gives a very socially acceptable title for their work, and there are either literal or politically correct terms in English too.

What would you suggest?

English translation:female commercial sex worker
Explanation:
The source term does not explicitly state that the services are sexual but the meaning is implicit, as Robin stated, and the register is similar so this seems like a close equivalent. Since อาชีพ shifts the focus from the person to the profession, an alternate translation might be "commercial sex work" (leaving the gender unstated).

Thank you for your confirmation. I looked through English references and most simply referred to ‘sex workers’ without commercial. Regarding the gender aspect, I think anyone who has learnt anything about Thailand over the past 20 years knows there aren’t only women involved in this industry. The source can remain gender biased but it’s intended meaning is gender neutral, so I’ll leave it out. Thanks again, I’ll update to include commercial!
