Thai term or phrase: อะนี้คือเลขอะไรในสูติบัตร
On modern Thai birth certificates (1990s-2000s) a 'code' (I presume) is in the middle of the page, under the title สูติบัตร and the official emblem.

What would you refer to this number as? Does it have a name? Is it just 'document code'?
It's not the typical document number that was on previous birth certificates, as the National ID number is used on modern birth certificates instead.

Explanation:
See the Wikipedia article below. The article elaborates the whole scheme for the Thai ID number, and these four digits on the BC are a part of the ID number as well. If the link fails, just Google ส่วนประกอบของหมายเลขบัตรประชาชน

I don't know if there's an official name for it. I'd just call it "Registry Office No."

Notes to answerer
Asker: Fantastic. So, how should I describe it on an extract translation? I've used 'Certificate Number' but there might be a better choice of term.

Asker: Hi James, does this also apply for the number at the bottom of marriage certificates? "Registration Office No."?
