No le veo relación causal. La hemorragia referida por el paciente no aparece como complicación relacionada con las válvulas de Ahmed (Pej. http://scielo.isciii.es/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0... ), aunque realmente no he encontrado descripción alguna de una "válvula anteriorizada" tal cual. Como tercera opción, podría referirse a una implantación (de la porción externa de la válvula) más anterior de lo habitual en la conjuntiva del ojo, aunque hablo por sentido y no porque haya encontrado ejemplos al respecto.

Lo único que me sugiere la posibilidad de una complicación es la hemorragia vítrea que el paciente sufrió en abril de 2018 precisamente en este ojo. No sé si podría tener algo que ver.

Sí, en respuesta hago referencia precisamente a la idea mencionada en tus últimos enlaces, Charles ("migration of the tube tip") y diría que el sentido original tiene que ser uno de dos; o bien referencia a drenaje de la válvula a cámara anterior o bien (creo que menos probable en este caso concreto pero igualmente plausible) a un problema o complicación secundaria, como la migración a posición anterior del extremo del tubo de drenaje. En este caso nada parece aludir a una complicación y de ahí mi propia lectura aunque habría que ver el contexto más amplio.

Here's another ref. which might possibly be helpful; I'm not sure. It might support "anteriorisation", though not in the sense so far suggested. It does at least refer to glaucoma drainage devices:

"Tube retraction and anteriorization of the tube tip are more common in children because of reduced scleral rigidity and growth of the eye and may necessitate tube extension and/or repositioning".

I did quite a lot of research on this myself earlier, but did not reach a clear conclusion. Liz could be right, and in fact I myself came to suspect that that could be what it means, but I don't feel the case has been clearly made here either way. The problem is that although you can find examples online of "anteriorizado/a" meaning anteriorised in the sense of in a forward position, none of them refer to glaucoma drainage valves; they refer to anatomical features. Liz's references, most of which I looked at in my own research on this, show that "anteriorización" exists in Spanish and "anteriorisation" exists in English, but not what these words actually mean applied to drainage valves.

Taking it from the other end, the valve can be fitted in either the anterior or the posterior chamber; of that there is no doubt. I don't feel that it is possible to say with any confidence that this is not what it refers to. What is essential, it seems to me, is to reseach the relevant procedure and leave aside anteriorisation of the oblique muscle and other anatomical uses of the word.

No estoy en absoluto seguro, pero habiendo encontrado los mismos ejemplos que menciona liz, no acaban de convencerme.
El primero reza;
Descripción de un caso atípico de anteriorización del segmento anterior en una mujer de 53 años tras la realización de una lensectomía con implante de lente multifocal. A consecuencia de la cirugía desarrolla una miopización y un glaucoma por cierre angular.
