Russian term or phrase: одно- или многосерийные фильмы
Под фильмами в рамках настоящего Договора понимаются любые одно- или многосерийные фильмы производства любых киностудий без ограничения территории и/или оригинального языка фильма.
Alexander Kolegov
English translation:any film or movie, including a series or mini-series
Explanation:
[is understood to mean] any film or movie, including a series or mini-series

I would alter it slightly and also put it in the singular as above. When we say "film" or "movie" (native English), we assume this means a full-length movie intended for theatre release or TV screening (as in digkam's "made-for-TV-movie" above). We never mean a series that is shown on TV, such as "Улицы разбитых фонарей", which in Russia can sometimes be referred to as a film. So you expand on this assumption by referring to series and mini-series in addition.
Of course this may include documentary films or series as well, not only feature films. That is why I have put "film or movie" - documentaries are not normally referred to as movies.

neutral  digkam: i agree to serial/series, but sequel is not a телефильм, it's one of several separate theater movies. in fact, because it's nothing close to russian traditional movie production, there isn't a russian term for it as yet. only something ugly like сиквел

одно- или многосерийные фильмы
motion pictures, made-for-TV movies or series and miniseries

Explanation:
it all depends on what kind of production we're talking about, tv or theater movies. you could say "television/made-for-TV movies or miniseries," if we're talking about tv, but "miniseries" would limit it to the movies like Место встречи изменить нельзя. also, motion picture studios do not do movies for tv - that would be tv channels themselves. so if it's all-tv-inclusive, could be television movies or miniseries and serials/television movies or series and miniseries. But i understand we're talking about russian television that buys a lot of various stuff, so it could be safe to say "motion pictures (i.e. theater movies), made-for-TV movies or series and miniseries."

neutral  digkam: yes, but you say "including" - undermining your own argument that the two kinds are different. furthermore, "motion pictures," even if slightly archaic, stands for both feat. and documentary, no? though "films or movies, or series..." etc. is good, too
