Any suggestion on how I can proper translate the term "que pueda"?

What I'm trying to say is, now that we know what "que pueda" is, which really means "the student will be able to", it can safely be omitted in this particular case.

agree  philgoddard: We don't know the exact context, but I would have thought "able to" is enough, without "being".
