This child has glioma of the left chiasma and left intracranial optic nerve with significant contrast uptake. Any suggestions for this verb? I can't find an appropriate translation.

MRI scan of the brain:
Os seus contornos são muito bem definidos e são regulares, a sua configuração é alongada no sentido antero-posterior, e externo/interno, estendendo-se desde a margem profunda do canal ótico até ao hemi-quiasma esquerdo, placando-se ainda dado o seu volume contra a face esquerda do hipotálamo, com desvio direito deste. O envolvimento do hemi-quiasma esquerdo pelo tumor deforma o hemi-quiasma direito mas tanto a emergência do segmento pré-quiasmático do nervo ótico direito como a emergência da fita ótica direita têm aspecto inteiramente normal.
