I am translating a medical document, results from CT scans and the likes and I keep coming across 'conservada' to describe parts of the anatomy. I have used maintained once, although I'm not sure I am getting the right sense, please help?

Is it like maintaining structure, good form, etc?

Thank you. I actually chose 'in good condition' or a variant, as well as normal. I do like intact and will remember this. Also the tip on the glossaries, I will try to look in them (I thought I did look in the terms bit for conservadas but didn't find anything. Thanks again for this interesting discussion :).

It was brought to my attention by a physician that their preference term for 'conservado' is "normal". I have always used it since then in my medical translations and haven't had any complaints about this choice.
