Italian term or phrase: Armo e disarmo (di una barca di vela)
I am translating a description of a beginner's sailing course, and one of the points covered in the course is "Armo e disarmo".

Does anyone have a good English word for this? I think it's referring to preparing or setting up the boat, and then the opposite after a trip, but I can't find a nice concise translation.

I have mostly found references to armament, but this is a sailing boat, not a military ship!
I also don't think 'decommissioning' is right, because that implies that it's permanent, and certainly not beginner friendly.
