better late than never


Explanation:
I would say check if "Better late than never" fits the context. nimma seems to mean no or never. - see reference Rather today than never (nimma) but leaving out the "than" to make the slang-like expression more powerful.

And definitely seems like something that could appear on a greeting card, especially in the context of belated birthday wishes for example.
