German term

VP

German to English Medical Medical (general) Gynecology
This abbreviation is used to describe a patient in a medical report, the patient just had a natural abortion (5+3).

Based on my research, VIG stands for "vaginal intendiert" (although I still have to figure out how to translate this).

Does anybody know what "VP" stands for?

Also, translation suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Veronika Neuhold Feb 16, 2022:
VP might refer to "Vorderwandplazenta".
philgoddard Feb 15, 2022:
The G in VIG is Geburt. I agree that we need the context.
Patricia Daehler Feb 15, 2022:
Could you post the entire sentence containing VP and preferably also the sentence before and after for more context?
VP can stand for Vaginalprolaps or vaginale Palpation among others, see: https://www.medizinische-abkuerzungen.de/suche.html
