Dutch term or phrase: nog eens overgedaan
thankfully, I'm back to the CRM text now........
Can't figure out how to work this into the sentence without a complete rewrite (which may nonetheless be necessary):
We weten dat Johannes Gutenberg het drukprocédé aanzienlijk flexibeler maakte, en de laatste jaren hebben laser en digitale technologieën dat ***nog eens overgedaan***.
TIA!

After re-reading the text and the answers about 100 times, I think this fits the best within the context - I'm not even sure 'overgedaan' fits well within the Dutch sentence. Thanks David and everyone else!

agree  Iris70: denk ik wel, refereert aan 'nog eens dunnetjes overdoen". Dus repeated the whole thing by etc..

have done this again/repeated this

Explanation:
Methinks, 'overgedaan' is 'repeating' here, or something along those lines
-->Gutenberg made it more flexible, and so did laser and digital technology
I don't think that 'only/merely added to this' rightfully expresses what's meant here, unless author would have added e.g. 'flauwtjes'

neutral  jarry (X): The problem I have with Evert's objection and his own suggested solution is that it interprets the Dutch phrase as having 'repeated' the significant flexibility J.G. originally introduced. What added value would there be in repeating this?

-> 'alleen maar' is exactly what I DON't want to see here... I'm not sure this is what's meant at all/'nog eens' is not 'merely' here, if you ask me - maybe more context could help?
