Apartment block Explanation: Well, no matter the register, what you have is a block of flats. You might also say an apartment block, a mixed-use residential-commercial block (if also containing retail spaces), and so on. There is a Régimen (or Ley) de Propiedad Horizontal ("PH") that governs their construction and a Reglamento de PH governing their operation.
