The meaning of the terms Materialbahn and Bahnlaufpfad is of course clear but a good translation is not forthcoming. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

web path
Explanation:
'Materialbahnen' (paper, textile, etc.) as described in your context are called webs in English.

For processing, the web passes along a 'path' which takes it between and over rollers.

"Also, most of these rolls are situated in the web path, between the Tension Transducer, and the torque regulated Unwind Drive."
