they are usually located at hospitals, are open 24/7 and deal mostly with urgent traumas like concussions, fractures, wounds - if the "traumatised" may be treated as out-patients, then help is rendered and the patient goes home bandaged or whatever; if not, he's sent over to hospital

alas, been to such places several times meself 8-//
