Please see explanation below Explanation: I'm not sure if this is an idiomatic expression, but if I rephrase it: The remiscient color illustration on her first page (of a book) is so wonderful (or pretty) that it is worth paying the money to buy one. Revisited here means nostalgic and to look back good memories from long time ago in one's experience. So her color illustration on the first page reminds one of good experiences in the past, and it is so good that it's worth buying. |

It was worth the price I paid for the book, when I opened the first page. Explanation: It was worth the price I paid for the book when I opened the first page and looked inside. It was that good that just he first page was worth the cost to enter the book. admission here, just means enter, open, look and read the book.
