Afrikaans term or phrase: Negende Grensbotsing
This is Africaans. The phrase is from a thesis entitled "Die Negende Grensbotsing". I think it translates to The Ninth Frontier Collision, but I'm not sure.

Thank you very much for helping me. I like your answer the best since the thesis is about the 9th Cape frontier war with the Xhosa. I do have one more question though. Can grens also mean Frontier? I like The Ninth Frontier Clash a little better. I'm just curious, but you know alot more about Afrikaans than me. Again, thanks alot for your answer. It did help me. Take Care.

The Ninth Border Conflict

Explanation:
Could also be:
"The Ninth Border Encounter",
if the tone should be military.

"Collision" is WRONG in this context.

The Ninth Border Confrontation

Explanation:
A "botsing" is also an accident which implies bad things etc.

Confrontation is also a negative word which implies unhappiness about certain issues etc.
