kuch kuch hota hai

It doesn't seem to be Afrikaans, it sounds more like Hindi/Urdu.

It's the title of a film that has won many prizes.

Don't know what the title means however...

HTH anyway,

Serge L.

Something is happening

Kuch Kuch hota hai is the title of a hugely successful Bollywood movie, and its title translates as:

Kuch = Something

Hota = Happening

Hai = Is

The repetition of the 'kuch' is just melodramatic, I suspect :)

Hope this helps
