zotëri Explanation: There are some Albanians who think that using 'zoti' is not, religously speaking, a correct term. For this reason, they use 'zotëri'. To be honest, this is the first time I see such abbreviation, but given the context and the fact that he is related to a religious organization, he must mean 'zotëri' by that abbreviation. The English equivalent would be 'Mr.'. I hope this helps. https://sq.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qendra_Juridike_e_Kosovës -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 5 mins (2018-02-25 21:31:13 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- religiously* -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 mins (2018-02-25 21:35:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.dvv-international.org/index.php?option=com_conten... It seems that the title 'zr.' has been used both for foreigners and Albanians. There is a tendency in public events to use 'mister', though, instead of 'Sir'. |
