Not Arabic Explanation: If this is a proper transliteration, it's most probably not Arabic -not CLASSICAL Arabic, anyway. The closest I can think of, for the 2nd 'part,' if Al and Emo are combined, is "his pains". Is there any more information about this 'name' and HOW it is used? Gus |

It's a name without a meaning Explanation: Both parts of the name don't mean anything..other than they are names..they are definitely not nicknames, and they probably are the guy's real name. |

it is a Lebanese name Explanation: hi cris; if you are sure the name is Arabic, then the closest translation would be as follows; "generous knower". explanation : the first letter of "Atwain Al Emo" is the letter number 18 in the Arabic alphabet. a letter that is not found in the English alphbet. The infinitve is "atta" meaning :to give . in standard Arabic the adjective referring to a person who gives a lot is "Metaa". in Lebanese it is "Atwian". "al em" is also Lebanese and is a describtion of a person who knows a lot . the infinitive is "Alema" meaning to know . i hope this would be of any help to you. if you would provide more infrmation, i might be able to give you an accurate translation Mokhtaar al Sahha- Arabic Arabic Dictionary Al Mogaam al Wasseet |
