Arabic term or phrase: jaysh
I am told that 'jaysh' is the Arabic for 'army' and a quick Google reveals lots of militia links. Can anyone confirm?

Apologies for the transliteration, but I am not a scholar of Arabic, just editing a text that includes numerous Arabic terms.

Thanks for any help!
