Arabic term or phrase: ذكيّ جريّ
وكان كل من يحارب الإسلام والعرب موضع ثقة المستعمرين وإعزازهم حتى لو دعا ذكيّ جريّ إلى إستقلال سورية وكان مع ذلك يبغض الإسلام وينتقص العروبة ويتبرأ من العرب لما وجدوا فيه خطراً بل لفرحوا به بقلوبهم فرحاً عظيما
Does this combination of adjectives have a specific meaning or is it the apparent meaning: intelligent and bold? There's no 'hamzah' on جري but it might be a typo.
