Bosnian term or phrase: kakve su vatre gorjele a ti ih gasila. na kakvom sam bio dnu a ti si me spasila
A song by Dino Merlin "Kad zamirisu jorgovani"
Lucy
English translation:such vehement fires were raging still you were putting them out/ I existed at the very bottom
Explanation:
before you saved me.

I took some liberty translating this because I think Dino intended these lines to sound more passionate than the following literal translation:

such fires were burning still you were putting them out/ At such bottom I was, and you saved me.

By the way, I have been told by my friend Zeljko, that Dino Merlin performed on several occasions here in the U.S. before Bosnian audience which invited him.

Thank you so much for yur help!! A also heard about Dino Merlin's Concerts in the US. I'm not Bosnian, but I love the music and that's why I'm trying to translate it. Some words are similar to my native language ,Polish, but others are completely different! THANK YOU!
