Bosnian to English translations [PRO]
Other / prostorno i urbanističko uređenje
Bosnian term or phrase: prostor
-Prostornim uređenjem osigurava se plansko upravljanje, korištenje i zaštita prostora Federacije kao osobito vrijednim i ograničenim dobrom, u skladu s osnovama federalnog nivoa nadležnosti;
- Plansko upravljanje, korištenje i zaštita prostora (plansko uređenje prostora) osigurava se provedbenom dokumentacijom prostornog uređenja, zasnovam na cjelovitom pristupu uređenju prostora i načelima održivoga razvoja;
-Prostorni plan Federacije sadrži politiku korištenja zemljišta i usmjerava razvoj funkcija u prostoru;
-Prostornim planom, između ostaloga, utvrđuje se osnovna namjena prostora i mjere za obnovu i sanaciju prostora;
-Prostorni plan Kantona i Grada treba da sadrži osnovnu namjenu prostora (poljoprivredno, šumsko, građevinsko zemljište, vodne i druge površine);
-Zakon takođe obavezuje nosioce izrade planskih dokumenata da koriste sve prethodno izrađene planove, studije, elaborate i sl. i da osiguraju saradnju sa vlasnicima nekretnina i drugih korisnika prostora;

space (spatial planning)

Oxford OALD Dictionary:
spatial (also spacial) / adjective
(formal or technical) relating to space and the position, size, shape, etc. of things in it

Online Etymology Dictionary:
spatial
1847, from L. spatium + adj. suffix -al; formed in Eng. as an adjective to space, to go with temporal.

Wikipedia:
Spatial planning

Regional/spatial planning gives geographical expression to the economic, social, cultural and ecological policies of society. It is at the same time a scientific discipline, an administrative technique and a policy developed as an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach directed towards a balanced regional development and the physical organisation of space according to an overall strategy.

NAPOMENA:

Možda treba skrenuti pažnju i na sledeće:

"The concept of spatial planning is not native to English-speaking countries, making the term an example of Euro-English. It originates from terms such as 'aménagement du territoire' from France and 'Raumplanung' from Germany."
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spatial_planning)

što, naravno, ne znači da je to na enleskom pogrešno - videti na primer:

Webster's Online Dictionary:
SPATIAL PLANNING
A general term for the process of planning an area's physical environment.
