Explanation:
Ако става дума за общо название на път, който заобикаля дадено селище и го облекчава от движение, това е британският термин. Обикновено такъв път носи името на заобиколеното селище -- "the Charrington Bypass." "Detour" е по-скоро отклонение поради ремонт или произшествие. А "roundabout" е кръгово движение. Има и "mini-roundabouts" -- бели точки на пътни възли, около които се кара, все едно че в средата има бетонна преграда. По-големите кръгови движения в брит. англ. се наричат "gyratory systems."
