Hola. Veig erratas per tot arreu, mira:
1ª opció: nom català (Alber) sense la "t" i amb majúscula, per lo tant: "don't call him Albert". No crec que aquest nom sigui tan lleig...
2ª opció: una coma desapareguda: "no li diguis, Alber!": don't tell him, Albert!". Jo no traduïría Alber.
3ª opció: "alber" (amb minúscula) es un arbre (: "álamo o chopo blanco" en espanyol i "white poplar" en anglès), potser s'utilitzi en el sens de "alcornoque" o "chopo" en espanyol (ruc, tonto, ximple, pallús,...) per lo tant: "don't call him thick". No ho se, no ho he sentit mai aquesta expresió en català... "Chopo" en espanyol pot tenir el significat de "hillbilly", "de pueblo" (amb perdó).
Jo em decanto per la segona sempre i quan n'hi hagi una coma.
