English translation: Audit Office for Catalonia?

Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / government auditing institution
Catalan term or phrase: Sindicatura de Comptes
Any suggestions as to how to render this in English? I was thinking something along the lines of "Budget & Auditing Office". The English version of the Sindicatura's website (www.sindicatura.org) says "Public Audit Office for Catalonia" but I don't know how "official" the translation is, and I'm not sure if I should go with it or not.

English translation:Audit Office for Catalonia?
Explanation:
I am not sure about this, but found the following website with lots of information on audit offices all over the world. Maybe you can have a look at the UK and US (or other English language) sites and get an idea of which term sounds best.

Good luck!

agree  Berni Armstrong: This is fine, but I don't see what the objection is to the one found on the website. I have certainly heard the phrase "Public Audit Office" in the UK
