Catalan term or phrase: pronunciation of a name
Joan Calabuig Rull - deputy in the European Parliament.
How do you pronounce this name? I beleive the pronuncitation rules are different in Catalan than in Castellano.
J: as in French?
-g: as "ch" in Castellano?
ll: as a soft "l"? Something like "ly"? (but harder than "ll" in Castellano)

Are these assumptions correct?

Explanation:
What a name, you might think. Even for us, Catalan people, it's a bit difficult to pronounce.
J: as in French j
-ig: as in Spanish ch
ll: as in Spanish ll, but they can't pronounce a final ll.

Hope it helps.
