Catalan term or phrase: parc automobilístic
I think this refers to the number of cars per person in a country, rather than a specific "car park" - Am I right? If so, what do we call this ratio?

Dear Berni,

that's how the European Commission calls "parc automobilistic" - "parco macchine" in Italy, just out of curiosity :)

Hope it helps,

I guessed the meaning from context, but wasn't sure if there was an equivalent phrase.

agree  xxxJon Zuber: Strictly speaking, it's the number of vehicles registered, some of which will be out of use.
