Another anaesthetic... I'm feeling numb already ;-)

Anyone know what this one was called in English. It was apperently big with vets in the 1940s.

Fluothane: Trademark for a preparation of halothane (a general anesthetic, occurring as a colorless, mobile, nonflammable, heavy liquid; administered by inhalation).

I don't do enough medical to justify a specialist dictionary. But this was a doctor in a non specialist biographical dictionary.
