晶点 is also a defect of the PVC film. that is caused by some impurities contained in the raw materials. I think the tiny particles of the impurities become \"晶核\" causing PVC molecules to crystalize aroud them. I would call 晶点 as \"grain\". I saw \"grain\" was used in a similar context before.

In the following web, they call it \"dirty\", but I don\'t think that is good English.
