Law/Patents - Law (general)
Chinese term or phrase: 笔误
"由于法院的笔误,判决引用***法规错误,但结论正确."
笔误 is a slip of pen
But I'm afraid "a slip of pen" is not the right one in this case.
How do your folks think?

clerical error

Explanation:
"Due to a clerical error by the court,..."

This may fit the legal context better than "slip of the pen" or "typo" (which both may be too colloquial in this sentence).

typographical error

Explanation:
我认为"typographical error" 或者 "typographical errors" 更合适些.
