agree  Naikei Wong: A doctor / researcher would probably just put it as "enlargement of the ventricle(s)" (a feature in disorders like schizophrenia), which sounds less rigid. //You're right but the contexts should be sufficient (without the need to repeat words like brain)

  -> Thanks! Ventricles may also mean 心室. I believe it is better to specify "cerebral", unless the context clearly indicates this enlargement relates to the brain.
