屏东县 内埔乡 六堆地区

English translation: county; village; district

Chinese to English translations [Non-PRO]
/ Taiwan geography
Chinese term or phrase: 屏东县 内埔乡 六堆地区
Place in southern Taiwan. Just interested in how to accurately translate 县 and 乡 and 六堆
liberation
English translation:county; village; district
Explanation:
I believe the "standard" translations are county, village (or town), and district.

This question came up recently on another BBS, in which it was suggested that the terms ~{OX~} and ~{Og~} are not really accurately translated. The English terms for these terms translated from Japanese are "prefecture" and "county", which seem more accurate in describing the size and scope of the areas specified.

What does everyone else think about that?

Many thanks. Could you use simplified Chinese next time? Can't "see" what you wrote in Chinese...
