county; village; district Explanation: I believe the "standard" translations are county, village (or town), and district. This question came up recently on another BBS, in which it was suggested that the terms ~{OX~} and ~{Og~} are not really accurately translated. The English terms for these terms translated from Japanese are "prefecture" and "county", which seem more accurate in describing the size and scope of the areas specified. What does everyone else think about that? |
