Mich interessiert hier vor allem die Unterscheidung zur Maticni broj - denn beides kommt auf einer Rechnung vor. Ich nehme an, dass porezni broj die UID-Nummer, aber das dachte ich von Maticni broj auch.

Meines Erachtens ist maticni broj so etwas wie eine Registrierungsnummer - vielleicht wie die Handelsregisternummer o.ä. Porezni broj ist eindeutig eine Steuernummer, die also nur im Zusammenhang mit Finanzinstitutionen in Verbindung zu bringen ist.

Ich meine damit, dass die Steuernummer nur für das Finanzamt von Belang ist, und nicht, dass nur Finanzinstitutionen eine hätten. Entschuldigung, unverständlich ausgedrückt.

agree  dkalinic: Wenn auf einer Rechnung matični und porezni broj verwendet werden, dann ist das eine Firmenbuchnummer, das andere aber Steuernummer. Sonst kann auch ein "matični broj" "Steuernummer" sein.

MB=Maticni broj=PB=Steuernummer (D:USt-IdNr., Ö:UID-Nr.). Oftmals wird aber, aus Oberflächlichkeit oder Unwissenheit, MB geschrieben, wenn MBS gemeint ist. Am besten Auftraggeber bzw. Firma direkt fragen.
