maintaining a situation Explanation: "maintaining a situation" or "maintaining a condition", but "condition" can also mean something else, so "situation" is less ambiguous. I don't agree with "on-going", as it implies a longer duration. It doesn't look very 'Danish' to me in the first place, so it may well have been translated from English originally. "Opretholdelsen" doesn't sound natural to me, and it could be a direct translation of "maintaining". |

maintaining a position Explanation: 'If the violation consists of maintaining a position....' A position can be a market position, a legal position, or strategic position. At this point, we are talking about an overlap between copywriting and translations. Just get creative. |
