Danish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Manufacturing
Danish term or phrase: pressemaskine
This is the sort of machine that forms things from blanks with pressure. I'm trying to decide between "press" and "pressing machine"; the latter popped up as a new-to-me alternative.

Context is U.K. English, which is what I'm seeking here. In the U.S., I think "press" would be preferred. Please indicate why you prefer your suggested answer -- be it decades of expert translator experience, former employment in selling these in the U.K., or a parent who has operated one on a daily basis. ;-)

Sorry, I forgot you were looking for British. However, after checking, it seem this is also a common word in British.
