Everything is possible, this certainly makes more sense...
Unfortunately not, it was found in several other places so the chances of it being a mistake are marginal...

agree bevwahl : Doubtful. I also have a text with 'injiceret'. 'infected' would make sense here - but 'f' is a long way from 'j' on the keyboard, so I don't think it's a simple typo.
